hi, 24c at the moment here. but gets cold still at night .but getting better.been out on m,bike this morning . playing at being 16yr old on a 250 single . still brings the same excitment. cant beat a m,bike on a warm sunny day. even crossed my mind about riding it down in the summer . last time i did it was when i was 16. well on a 250 single . might turn up out of the blue .never know. but its lovely here now the grass is green the trees are shooting there leaves out . definately the uk dont seem to get it in other countries the same.

I'm on a site now, washing done and hanging outside to dry, charging up everything I can think of. Later I'm going to plan the next 4 days wildcamping. As mentioned earlier I'm going to stretch the time I spend wilding and decrease the time I spend on sites.

We last at least three nights then usually head for a CL for a night to empty and fill. It's amazing how mad you can go with unlimited water!!

She says she needs to wash and dry her hair every 3 or 4 days, and having been married 37 years I know how to say "yes dear".

sometimes i've been parked up and you'd get these groups of little old ladies all in black showing a keen interest in the van and us and i'd invite them in for a good nose, never had to ask twice they're in like flynn!i had 8 in once looking in the bog and in the oven, lots of oohhs, then they all line up to shake your hand and say ta,really sweet

I think your advice is spot on but I'm quite a private person so throwing my motorhome open to visitors wherever I go is going to be difficult. Not impossible but difficult if you know what I mean

Just done 8 days on Islay, followed by 2 more returning home - pretty cold & wet & the heater had failed! But no problems, we spend a lot of time sail cruising & are used to conserving water. A tankfull lasts over a week for 2 people. I have a spare toilet cassette & we use loos at the places we visit where possible & empty the full cassette at normal public loos.

We brought a lot of washing home with us, but could have used a laundrette if we wanted to. No solar panel, genny or inverter, but no great desire for electrical stuff anyway.
