Instant - generally we've given it up!
Cafetiere - mess of grounds to avoid going down the sink, and everywhere else.
Filter - filter container and jug to store somewhere (and less hot by the time it reaches the mug)
Individual coffee filters - space to store unused filters, and we still add coffee to make them stronger!
Italian Espresso percolator - the next one we are going to try .................................

Cafetière. Wash either at tap nearby or use drain tap from your own water tap.

I've been using a Handpresso Wild Espresso Maker for a couple of years now.Makes excellent coffee using ESE pods, so very little mess involved. Various models are available, including 12V ones.

On my gas ring I use a 1950's aluminium percolator with glass dome where the coffee can be seen and heard bubbling through the grounds... very satisfying... grounds go into the hedgerows to feed tiny mammals......

or if in a hurry an instant cup of Millicano ground... not too bad - but only if bought on special offer.....

I'm with Delicagirl I have a 1950s Sona coffee percolator in my van love to watch it gurgling away I also have a 1 cup cafetier and an 8 cup for communal coffee making no instant anywhere in my van EVER yuk!!

I use a glass tea pot from IKEA with the central metal foil basket. Easy to get rid of grounds, easy to clean and holds enough for 2 mugs each in the morning. RIKLIG Teapot - IKEA

Although the mesh container sits a little high, the coffee gets dowsed enough to make a decent cup.

Tried this, in the house this morning - found it in the back of a dusty cupboard, yesterday before I posted - and it is getting the thumbs up. Will try it in the van next time we are out in it. Very easy to empty and clean. Also I found a small plastic funnel (not designed for the purpose) and some filter cones - very basic but also worked a treat. Think we're sorted - thanks!

I'm with magbrin on this one! Filter holder, balanced on top of a thermos (Cafe) filter paper (usually bought in France as cheaper) and ground coffee. The thermos stops the coffee going cold while filtering, and keeps it warm for the next cup. (Usually topped with aerosol cream!) Glad to see that Aldi have brought back their Rich Roast Filter coffee, def one of my favourite ones.
