How do you big boys, and girls, do it

haha Annie, I seem to rip off the rear marker lights on mine. So far (touch wood) the mirrors have just bumped out the way. One white van who clipped my drivers mirror with his passenger mirror lost his side window though. I just laughed at him
Just taken rear marker light off in Scotland. Should have replacement at home when I get there.

I fitted led ones off Amazon, only problem is facing forward show white light and they dazzle my lol

I have an 8m long 3m high 6 berth for the two of us
We have 2 x 11kg GasIt bottles and also a CEPSA 12kg propane as back up
We DID have a towcar but it was so small and it was too uncomfortable with my spinal problem so back to the electric bikes

We tour UK and Europe the best UK wilding is Scotland we will be heading back there later this year but we thorough find Europe so much easier to wild camp though Portugal has had enough of those that leave huge messes and empty black waste anywhere , which has cut down available areas, and there's a crack down in Spain in some coastal areas due to the same behaviour though it appears Dutch and German invaders are to blame

Total miles 2024 =429 and 80 nights

Back in the 70s I was staying on a farmers' field in darkest Wales when I got involved in an journey.
The farmers had sold a chicken shed to a neighbour, but part of the deal was that they would deliver it.
The shed was on small solid metal wheels so the plan was to lash it to the back of their Land Rover Pick up and tow the shed to the destination (only a couple of miles).
Part of the journey was down very narrow lanes. the LR was catching on both side and the shed had no chance.
I drove the Land Rover and they sat in the back with a chainsaw each.
On the way back I had to reverse so they could load the good wood in the truck.

You lot would not know a tight road if it slapped you in the face. 😂

Here's a proper "Road of death" Trev from last years tour in Devon that I had to navigate on the Honda. Then of course there was the Hardknott and Wrynose passes (Twice) the other week. But a mere doddle on a Honda Biff Chariot of course. :D

I can just about see your mansion at the end of the lane. 😂

not sure if anyone else has pointed this out , but most roads in uk are used regularly by bin lorries and tractors , don't think i've ever had a problem over here

although one time in pembroke an oncoming driver flagged me to saythere was a tight bend on a steep downhill that , if i got it wrong , i'd be jammed with no way of reversing
he was right ,though i managed it .

I am going down a road this morning in the car (focus size) which the car will just fit down, at the bottom end of Luxulyan Valley

The only time I had a problem delivering benches was to a pub in Cornwall Nigel (can't remember which village though).

I was instructed to 'phone them when I reached the outskirts of the village and he sent out a load of blokes on foot to carry the benches to the pub, they said they had to do the same with the Dray for beer deliveries. Dunno how the rest of the village coped with bin collections though.

As you say, not a problem in most places.

just remembered another one . there's ashort cut to monkton farleigh by bath . it's a one in 4 single track with steep banks each side . about halfway up in an old thames van , the engine ran out of power and the van started rolling back . pressing the brakes as hard as i could only slowed it .if i went into a bankside i would be stuck with a massive recovery bill . i pushed harder and the back of the seat broke . quite exciting but i made it
