Hose for water tank filling.

I use a 10 meter length of blue food grade hose with a Hozelock connecter on one end and when coiled correctly it easily fits inside a carrier bag.

For the sake of £9.99 ( it`s 99p a meter at my local accessory shop ) i renew it every 3 or 4 years to keep things nice and fresh :)

Have to say i dont drink water unboiled from any van i use bottled - so i'd use any old hosepipe if i used one - cant see inside hose which is probably a breeding ground for bacteria and what the eye cant see the heart doesn't grieve over.

At least i can see what is in watering can gunge wise but thats my choice and some choose to use a hosepipe which is their choice

So I ended up buying a 15 meter blue hose from screwfix and two sets of connectors.
Got tape measure out cut 5 meters of fitted ends, the remaining 10 meter bit looked far bigger than the 5 meter bit measured 5 meter bit again ok remaining 10 was in fact 20!! Checked reciept 25 meter hose but 15 meter price, life is confusing enough without these mind games. So 1x5 2x10 more stuff........

We usually drink bottled water in the van.

But for emergencies I have a water filter so could use puddle water if necessary.

Clean them wheels and tyres you lazy bugger o_O :ROFLMAO:

Pic was taken about half an hour after we got it back from the tyre repairer in Kelso, Graham. Not sure what all the white stuff on the tyre is but it passes muster now, good enough to eat your breakfast off.

Ral, the white stuff is tyre soap that they use to help get the new tyres on the rim.

Back in the olden days they used to clean it off along with the dirty finger prints especially on alloys or should i say tyre fitters that cared used to clean it off.

Sadly them days long gone :(
