Highland Council Considering continental style stop overs

Reading some of the posts on here it is looking quite positive for motorhomes in Scotland and with The National trust hopefully opening up carparks, the future looks a bit better.
I know that there will be charges but it would be that if you want to stop near tourist area's, whether here or abroad, as charges being levied more and more.
As long as they are reasonable I don't think it is a bad thing, at least you know you are welcome and hopefully the money will be used to improve the place where you are staying.

It will suit us. We have a large Tag axle van, so the number of wilding spots are limited anyway and we use a lot more THS and CS sites now.

There might be a push to herd vans into these new places by putting stricter conditions on parking elsewhere. Parking Fines might be a bit more common.
