Well its all kicking off in the paper, i've made another comment, dont know why because they are just blinkered, i can't be bothered with it, i will save my holidays and pennys and go up Scotland instead, where i will be welcomed and i will spend my hard earned cash in their shops and pubs.

The attitude of Scarborough Council is unfortunately far from unique in England and I, like others, have frequently put the point that, far from being freeloaders, we bring income into the areas in which we chose to stop. Of course, there will always be irresponsible idiots who set out to spoil it for the rest of us by dropping waste etc but if France can see the value of letting us stay then what is it about English Councils that can't or won't see what is clear to the French - and indeed the Spanish, who seem to be opening new aires at a rapid rate? I have no answers - I just find it bizarre.

Although Cllr Joe Plant replied to my email, cllr Alf Abbot obviously didn't deem it worthy of a reply. Oh well, that's Scarborough off my list!
