Help please
Can anyone identify what make and model of skylight/roof vent I have on the front of my 2012 Autosleeper Warwick Duo.
I can't see any manufacturers name on anywhere on the unit, neither can I find any images on the tinternet.

It has suddenly become very noisy when traveling and i suspect a cover / outer skin has gone walkabout.

Sorry about the small photos but I have no clue on how to bigger them up.:pc:

Your first port of call is The Auto-Sleepers factory or one of their Dealers. If under warranty t h e dealer you bought it from.

Did you buy from South Yorkshire Motor caravans ?

Next time I'm out I will skirt past Marquis at Dinnington. But it is just out of warranty. I got it second hand from Brownhills (so IMHO it would be a waste of time going back there anyway :rolleyes2:)

Cheers for the reply though.

Get in touch with Mark Harrison Motor Plus Derby 01332260222 after 10am.
They only sell and repair Auto Sleeper motorhomes. I have a fault on my 2014 A/S Broadway which I did not buy from them, Mark answered a post on the Auto Sleepers forum asked for pictures of work needed, he sent the pic's to A/S and as had the go ahead to do the repair work on our van.
Like I said I didn't buy from them and my dealer as been absolutely useless, they refused to do the warranty work on our van so I have been travelling down to Willersley for warranty work.
Mark in my opinion works for a very good dealership, and he as gone out of his way to help me.

John.

Just to give an update

The unit is made by a German firm called Hartal, seems they are not very popular, cant find a dealer or spares.

Have decided to replace the unit with a fiamma wind up model and will be fitting it myself. (fingers crossed and heaps of sikaflex)

Thanks again for the replies.

Sika flex is not the best stuff to use for roof vents you need a non setting bedding mastic, http://www.caravan-components.co.uk/epages/BT2955.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/BT2955/Products/SBM015 much better

the sika flex might well bond to the body but the bond to the vent will not last I've seen it countless times

So an Update.

I sent for a Fiamma wind up model but when it arrived (4 days) I was disappointed with the quality but most of all It required drilling and screwing to the roof and it didn’t cover the old marks on the inside headlining.

I returned it straight away and ordered a Heki from ”Jacksons Leisure Supplies”.

Ordered at 11:00 yesterday delivered at 10:15 today and fitted (between the showers) by 16:00, using Caraflex.

The hardest job was cutting through the sealant to get the old unit out and then cleaning the surfaces.

I’m a happy bunny again.:rabbit:

So free to a good home, collect or pay @£5 postage.

One used Hartal skylight with missing outer cover.

Give us a shout if you want it for spares otherwise it goes down the tip.

Thanks again for all the responses.
