We have a Hobby 600, year 2000. Had to replace the leisure battery due to 'death' of old one. Fitted the new batter yesterday now we have no electrics at all, either from battery or mains? Checked fuse box, control fuses, which all appear okay. Any suggestions???? Lyn Smith:(

I am not an electrician and not familiar with hobby .

However on my van there are fuse boxes which you refer too, also an equivalent of a domestic consumer box which is located deep in the recess of a cupboard.

No power at all would suggest that this has tripped or at worst its internal fuse blown

Good luck

Hi Lyn,
On the positive lead from my leisure battery is a 25 amp fuse holder, I found that the fuse had slipped inside of the small spring so although the fuse was good it was not making a proper contact. Make sure the terminals are tight on the battery as well.
Regards,
Chris

If Tony picks up your thread he can probably help, he has a pic of a RV
as a avatar, and have noticed he answer a lot of threads on electrics.
Hope he is not offended by mentioning his name
