help motorhome will not start

i am so grateful for all your advise
i do apologise for not replying earlier but i have been working and yesterday was a catch up day
we should have been going away for a few days but due to weather and van problem we have had a change of plan
as soon as we get up and running i will send a post and let you all know how we got on

There is just no substitute for cold cranking amps, as batteries are rated. A really big, lorry type battery is the answer, either connect it if you have the room, or use proper jump leads. Those Mickey Mouse Halford type efforst are no good. You need to get a lot of power through those leads and you have to spin that engine over easily and with purpose. A rumbling slow crank wont work.
