350W is very low, don't tell me, you plugged it in back then too and your still waiting for it to boil.

we have a smalll travel kettle which we will use..........if it takes too long to boil....it will be back to using the kettle on the gas....lol

We had a similar small travel kettle which we use when having to fly to a holiday, it's quite slow. We now use an Aldi 'middle isle' kettle, iirc about 1000w.
