hi I'm new to all this, me and the wife have just converted a vw transporter panel in to a very nice camper van were hoping to go away next weekend but we want some were with hook up so we can try all the gadgets we havent got a pop top just a basic conversion were thinking of going to edale any ideas ?

Hi Jarvo, and welcome to the 'wilding club' I'm sure someone will come along soon to help with your request..but if you want electric hook up, it might not be a bad idea to join either the Caravan Club, or Caravan & Camping Club. Although we enjoy 'wilding' we still retain our CC membership, even if we don't want the big sites, there are hundreds of small '5 van sites' that can be a god-send when all else fails, and lots of them have EHU these days.
Good luck, and happy 'camping', once you get hooked, you are hooked for life ---and you'll meet the nicest of folks, here and on the continent.
