Just checking in as a newbie. I am not too experienced with forums but like the stuff I have read here. I hope to pick up a few tips from people and share a few in return.
My day job is very urban. My weekends are spent chauffering my wife to carboots and antiques fairs with our two dogs we brought back from Alaska. I hope to ease into a bit of wild camping soon - it has been all on campsites thus far. Wild camping in Alaska was easy because of the wide open spaces, very few people and just the occasional visit from the local wildlife. Back home in UK--well this is a whole new world for me now! I think I am a bit in fear of someone banging on the window in the middle of the night and telling us to get our a$%^es out of there...
