Hello from Shropshire

Hello, I have just got my first ever Motorhome and would like to go wild camping in the next couple of weeks.

Can anyone suggest a nice place around shropshire or mid Wales. It would be nice by a river or lake.

Now I have finally got my Motorhome, I am now looking where to go, rather than looking for one to buy.

Any advice would be great.

North end of Lake Vyrnwy there is a car park for a waterfall walk. The walk is lovely, as is the lake (great for cycling round or canoeing on) and the car park is good for an overnight.

Pistyll Rhaeder (probably on your way to Vyrnwy) is another waterfall well worth a visit too & there is a camp site there. I don't think they will want you parking overnight in the private car park, but there is a "lay-by" on the verge about 1-200mtrs before the car park where you should be OK.

Some great narrow roads over the hills around there too.
