Heki Mini Sklight inner trim.frame removal

Hi everyone

I am currency converting a Peugeot boxer to a camper and I have recently had a Heki Mini skylight installed. I now want to fit the roof lining in my van but don't know how to remove the frame (the part that has the blind and fly screen built in). I can see some screws but they are hard to get to and I assume they hold the main inner frame to the batten frame that was attached to the roof.

Does the outer trim just push off and on, if so, is there a technique as I don't want to force it and break the frame.

Thanks in advance

I've got a midi heki, which may not be exactly the same but I'd imagine it's close.

The inner frame screws are covered by little plastic mesh panels that pop off. Once the screws are removed the inner frame is still held in place but several metal clips, so it just needs pulling gently away from them. No particular technique, just pull it down.

The first few times I disassembled it I was very careful not to snap anything, but they seem pretty robust and these days I tend to be fairly heavy handed.

Thank you - I don't have the mesh panels but Alf has sent me a link to a drawing of the parts and it looks like it is held on with the clips so I will give it a go tonight

Thanks for all your replies everyone . I have now removed the trim and as you suggested it simply pulls off!
