Height Barriers

We are the same. We started at Cleethorpes the only carpark we stay at our of town has a new height barrier. Working our way down the coast are all the same withe height barrier's & empty. We are parking out of town on in villages & not spending money.

My thoughts exactly, that has been our policy for years now, making it hard to spend money on the coasts in particular.
We always find a way though, our van is 5.4m long, parking just off the prom or perhaps away from the centre and walk. Anyway, folk in the streets just back a little get to see our van parked overnight.
I find it satisfying to stroll along with a cheap ice cream from my freezer past people queing for expensive ice cream.
Even better when the kiosk has no customers. It's what councils want, no nasty campervans. Walking back to the van for coffee, lunch, afternoon cuppa and cake good for our healrh too!
. No park no spend simple.
