Heated grey water tank

No im talking about the central heating header tank in the loft, if a sealed sys the you drain down some and refill with a pump and then pressurize again, it will go round the rads and through the internal coil in the hot water tank when the motor valve opens, same with rads.View attachment 116057
Trev, I know you were. Those systems are very rarely fitted anymore. Anyone with a loft tank also has a few dead pigeons in it as well :)

Thanks again everyone the frozen tap issue has made my mind up. Collapsible container it is.

Thats whats fitted to all homes here to this day, only they use the sealed pressure vessel, still easy to put a freeze into sys, lots of folk changed to gas here now, daft idiots as you cannot service it yourself, very very costly.

Yes Mark thats the full option Rapido offer fully insulated tank and pipework, with heater.
They charge £270 with seems reasonable, but it deducts 12KG from the payload.
I reckon with an auto box my payload will be around 370KG, so every KG counts.
I will give this serious thought.

Thanks for all the replies.
That's some heater system weighing in at 12KG! does it include a generator too.

Just wondering could a gas heater and small bore water pipes be used around the tank to stop freezing, should be possible to make.

Very little ever in mine as we eat out 90% of the time, so only some hand washing and the odd wash of coffee cups when used.
My tanks are 100ltrs slung out back under the floor.

Lots of moaning posts on facts about people leaving their waste taps open, I leave it dribbling, only soapy water, no food.

We usually have our luncheon out, and very occasionally our evening meal if we're wild camping in a town.

The factory fitted grey water tank heater does not prevent my tank from freezing and uses too much valuable power. I now leave the valve open, parking in a suitable place for run off with a slight rear wards angle on the van.
