Hayling Island is Motorhome friendly the facilities on West Beach are great
You just need a RADAR key , showers and toilet are available , chemical toilet emptying , water taps etc.You can park on the beach for 6.00 for the day , if you want to stay over night they will charge you 15 pounds that seams a bit steep
Wild camping is available other places one with nice views of Portsmouth

Radar key

Hello Mike, Hayling Island is one of those places the wife and i say we must visit, but pray tell Mike, what is a RADAR KEY ???
Rema, Geoff & Rudi
"The Wrotham Pack"

A RADAR key is to access disabled toilets and is meant to be for disabled only.

I used to go to Hayling a bit before they started the aire haven't been in a while but a friend tells me you can still wild at the other carpark by the ferry pub. Also 2 pubs will have you and a further spot on way in by a garage.

The spot on the way in by garage was my choice of "home" last year almost every night for a month Monday to Friday. Always plenty of space, arrive late leave early. Great spot! Look out for height barrier on the right hand side just behind the garage... On the waterfront no height issues :)

Nice spot my new van is to big for there though such a shame

Hayling Island

Hi. just a little note
If you wild camp by the pub you will get a ticket
Best place is the nature reserve by the Esso garage
This is opposite Victoria road, room for 2 to 3 vans
Nice and quite and of the road
The other place is as you come over the bridge first turn
On the right before the garage the?n just alongside the water
