Back after a good weekend
I had grandson Ethan Friday night and after we walked into Hayfield and spent an hour or so on the park we strolled back to site he declined a visit to the pub.
back for a belated tea.
bed by 9.00 where we played with our head torches (torch on a headband)shining on the ceiling and doing shadows:eek:
He finally went off to sleep so I read some of my book by torch light
Saturday brought his mum and dad and a walk into Hayfield to watch the procession. For a small village this event was bringing in the crowds
Houses were decorated with flags and a theme of the seaside

This is someones home

What another wonderful weekend it was. Its like a family event now, we have Zee-Zee giving away his best book to me, people going on walks, mentions of the missing memory card and a person being awoken at 12:00, or was it later! Missus sorted him out next day with a dig in the back and the sweet message of 'would you make me a drink of tea love' or words to that effect!

We've already booked for the 19/20 Sept Sheep dog trials and the final weekend of the season.

Thanks gang. Sorry Rob we didn't get to chat, but I sincerely hope everything goes well for you.

Jon and Pam

What a great weekend, first a couple of apologies.....Gridok I am sorry if I offended you but that post was...... how can I best describe Hayfield...... by diecting you to all the past posts.
There is a welth of info there that would give you a taster:)
Secondly to all the wildcampers who I did not spend as much time witha s normal, only on this occasion I had arranged to have a weekend with some dear friends from my distant past, who a lot of you met as well.
They were as thrilled with Hayfield as we all are but as they are not M/H owners .......... there are still the unconverted, they were staying at the George, so obviously I was spending my time with them.
However we did have a good crakc with
a few of you and I hope youall had a good time.
I got home to a sick grandson on the sofa, who was staying overnight with us and with his year 6 sats today looming .....I was giving him my attention.
YES I did take a few pics this time and once steam driven photobucket spits them out yoy will see..... but they are the same as have been posted.
God I feel like I have been before the Headmaster:confused:
