It's just charged me a subscription that I've never set up. I was just wondering if it is connected to this site in some way. I find it hard to believe it's connected to my subscription here as I joined in the July!

edit: you get wildcamping.co.uk, motorhomer.com and motorhomebuilder.com all for the one subscription

Yep they are connected. Both part of the same subscription. Motorhomer is our sister site.

It is the sister website of this one with a focus on matters pertaining to motorhome use in general rather than specifically wild camping.

I forget how the subscription model works but I think you subscribe to both by default.

I'm sure @Admin will clarify for you.

The subscription is for both wildcamping and Motorhomer. If you cancel it you will lose it for this one as well. You would need to message @Admin I would think,

Actually Barry, I'm not sure why this applies as he joined in 2022.

From the terms and conditions section;

The MultiSite offer ended on 1st November 2021. Any member who had a paid Full Member subscription on 31st October 2021 will still keep the legacy MultiSite upgrade. If your paid Full Membership lapses for more than 90 days then this legacy feature will be removed.

So unless I am reading it wrongly then he shouldn't be subscribed to the other sites?

The guy that runs this and Motorhomer will sort you out, don't panic.

I think Motorhomer.com might be the name of the limited company that owns both the Motorhomer and the Wildcamping Forums. So if you take out a subscription to EITHER forum, the receipt will likely have the same issuing business name.

But as been said, I am sure Admin will clarify.

I agree, he is not listed as a member on Motorhomer.

Thanks for getting in touch, and I’m sorry for any confusion.

Motorhomer Ltd owns both Motorhomer.com and WildCamping.co.uk, which can understandably cause a bit of confusion.

Although you joined WildCamping.co.uk as a free member in July 2022, records show that you took out your current recurring subscription on WildCamping.co.uk on 10th June 2024.

I hope that clears things up, but if you have any further questions or would like help managing your subscription, just let us know.
