The nit nurse looked for said nits in your hair, dirty fingernails and to see of your balls had dropped. I am convinced that she was a member of the Gestapo who managed to escape capture in Germany, either that or she was kicked out of the Gestapo for being too nasty.

Besides, 'down there' was as bald as a baboons bum!

It does beg the question why they were so concerned about whether your balls had dropped or not?
