Do you belong to the AA Carol? The nice men in yellow carry new batteries for sale... with free fitting![]()
I'm sure someone might come on and contradict me .:lol-053:

If you want to try it out on me I am willing to give it a go
£15 to fit a battery? Very reasonable. Not all batteries are an easy job to change and what do you get for £15 theses days and with a store in nearly every retail park if there’s an issue on your travels simply go to your nearest store.
I was under the impression fitting was free too, perhaps it is a charge they have eventually introduced ?No, it's not unreasonable but I thought it was a free service.
Overheads anyone?
Carol, have you had this changed now? Where are you?
if you're still passing by later , bring the battery and we can all watch St3v3 fit it- he likes heavy work , and i'm 'whore de combat'Hi Steve, no not yet. I need to get a battery first! Thinking of using Alpha. I'm in Bradford but I'm not desperate until I go to Spain/Portugal in January. As long as the van starts before then! Might need a new leisure one too! #carolsbatteryfund@justgiving.com :lol-053:
