I was under the impression they did free battery fitting. They don't. It's £15![]()

If you have a battery to dispose of take it to your local scrapyard, mine gave me a tenner for one. They weight it then either give you a cheque or pay directly into your bank.
All pay cash here,
All pay cash here, why not folk go to a proper battery shop and save over halfrods prices
Scrap dealers haven't been allowed to pay cash for anything here for several years now
Halfords TV add says batterys fitted from £15
I can't even lift the battery, never mind get it under the bonnet. Seemed like the best option. However, not only was the fitting cost a surprise, she only came up with two possible batteries for my van ... one was a standard Halfords and the other was a make I'd never heard of and was not in stock! Back to the drawing board!
Do you belong to the AA Carol? The nice men in yellow carry new batteries for sale... with free fitting![]()
Wooie, I'm of an age where I don't think that'll work anymore! There are people like yourself Carol who cannot do jobs like this themselves so this service is beneficial to some, however there is a charge.
Another way is to buy from somewhere like Euro Car Parts especially if there`s an offer on like there is at the moment Euro Car Parts | Car Parts Online & In Store – FREE UK Delivery
You can also collect and the guys who work there will happily carry the battery out to your motorhome for you and then you`ll need to arrange fitting, at a meet possibly :hammer:
My step-sister had a foolproof way of getting jobs done quickly and normally for nothing
Undo the top couple of buttons on her blouse and hitch up her skirt, that usually did the trick :lol-049:
She openly admits and says that`s how she managed eventually to pass her driving test after 10 fails :scared:
The examiner didn`t have a clue how she drove because he had other " things " on his mind :lol-049::lol-049::lol-049:
