To my shame I forgot all about these until this morning
Having checked my lappy (a dell) it is showing as 19.5v so will the 22v adaptor be ok or should I pay full whack for a specific Dell one

I run my Dell D410 on 19v with no problem. It's worth noting that some Dells will not charge on non-Dell power supplies.

Yes, it uses the same power supply (PA-10) as my D410. If you look on the power supply block it will give you the output voltage.

I have just wasted nearly two hours trying to order one of these bloody things, everytime I go through the pprocess it changes the items in checkout from 1 to 2 no matter what I do to try to stop it. Madness
