Hadrians' Wall

Hi Gang,

I am after some help if at all possible. We will be visiting the said area of the wall and if anybody has been up there lately can they fill me in on places to stop and places to avoid. In the poi's or campsites anything will do.

The 'Twice Brewer's pub near Vindolanda has a big carpark that you can use for using their facilities. Vindolanda won't let anyone stay overnight. That was the case 3 weeks ago.

I have stayed in that vindaloo place...no issues but it was 2 years ago. No matter where I have stayed it seems everything is becoming more difficult. Up the road there is a visitors info centre with a tap. I just drove my van straight up to it and filled my van, no one battered an eyelid. Bet you that tap has gone as well!
