Had a smashing time.... NOT!

Tes did bump another car whilst parking on Monday as well, so hopefully that is the three.

Sounds like you've had your three. The trouble with your back problem is that as soon as you feel OK, off you go again, doing something daft, it's human nature. take care

You would need to be conscious of your back every second of your life just to minimise recurring back pain. A little twist here, a little twist there then 'pop' your back has gone again. You can put your spine at one angle many times with no adverse results, repeat it another time, your back goes again.

My back goes into violent spasms periodically, most of the time I will beat myself up for not taking care, other times it will go for no apparent reason.

Just grit your teeth, weep with the absolute agony of it, then skip down the road when all is well.

May be an idea to give up juggling batteries though!

used to lift pianos onto top of car alone no probs but I am carful of the way I stand when flushing toilets these days. The spasms are a buggger but backs have a mind of own.

Like izwozral OHs back is in one word bu99erd his also goes into spasms whenever and some times it takes a few days others weeks to right it self, I have a bad back have had for fifty years,(only sixty) but I have every sympathy for anyone that has a bad back! :scared::cry:

Oh dear, onward and upward after all those problems though eh?

I've had back pain at various times through the years after twisting while throwing something heavy and pulling it around 10 years ago. I've learnt to be sure to lift properly now and it makes a hell of a difference - even handling almost 40kg of 3m long worktop. And it's not just moving it but lifting it into position without knocking anything in rooms that are no longer than the top!

Even as little as making sure you look up before lifting makes all the difference.
