I was going to suggest Sugru. I think you can buy it in B&Q, though I'm not sure. Not been in one of them this year.There's also an amazing moldable glue called Sugru that feels like a firm plastic/rubber version of playdough. You can mold it into any shape and it sets in a few hours. It comes in lots of colours... not cheap but really useful.

I had exactly the same problem on mine towards the end of a French trip. Gorilla glue failed after the next use. What solution did you adopt in the end?Here’s a few more snaps and the culprit out

You could make one out of a piece of Aluminum and a file while you are mucking about trying to print oneor just screw it back together with a couple of M1 self tappers and some glue.
Could you just not ask to leave.Gordon, keep the broken part and I'll 3D print a new one, one problem tho, end of term soon, so could be September, unless I am given my voluntary severance?
