Bit dumb really as most of you probably know.

Peace at last.

Time for a blast out on the mighty Honda Biff Chariot me thinks 😁

Yes it's Arran of course. Still hasn't sunk in that we are here. Busier than I thought it would be (still not busy by mainland standards). There is a Rock and Blues festival on this weekend though. I'm gonna turn up and play my Cal Mac version of Sailing! Ironically we came over on that boat today that I ripped the pish out of. I wore my disguise.

'We're not sailing, we're not sailing ...' [Calmac corporate Mission Statement?] :ROFLMAO:

So a cracking day yesterday. Michelle walked to Kings Cave (Another one linked to the legend of Robert the Bruce seeking refuge in a cave where he is said to have been inspired by watching a spider's numerous and ultimately successful attempts to build a web) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King's_Cave

Then we had an afternoon out on the bike and a circular trip of the north end of the island. Disappointingly out of the "big seven" we only saw one small herd of deer. The big seven to see here are Dolphins, Whales, Golden Eagles, Deer, Otters, Basking Sharks and of course Seals. Eight if you include red Squirrels :D. What was surprising was the absence of seals. They are normally everywhere but we are usually here mid to late summer. Probably too early for the sharks and we have only ever seen one whale (dead :D) but the others we always see at some point.

Decided to stay in this current spot until Monday. Sadly the one water point on the north of the Island is out of service so that might make staying up there for any period of time "challenging" but as always I'll find a way.

The new twin battery, Victron controller and extra panel so far appear to be a game changer after last year. Seems amazing. Last night I had everything plugged in and fired up just to give it a caning and at bedtime around midnight it was still showing 12.7v. :D

Hopefully some Kayaking and possibly some cycling when we move over to the east coast on Monday. Nice lunch out somewhere today I think.

Few more pics (Ill try to remove the bike next time :D )

Aye, a tad early for the Baskers, too cold for the plankton just now, which is there only food sustenance.

2nd last pic, I took our camper down there and did struggle to turn around, much to the annoyance of some old git who I told to go forth and multiply. 🙈

Lochranza Castle? Yes its a bit tricky. If you ever wilded in Blackwaterfoot beach car park the golf club have banned it now. Signs up. I haven't parked up in there for years though. Always too busy which is why they probably binned it off. Last time we saw it it was like a packed Aire in France so no wonder.

Few more pics from today. Blooming lovely ride over the String road down to Brodick and then Lamlash. Stunning day

Not been far today. Both aching a bit and some imbibing was undertaken last night. 😁

Lovely evening ride along the west coast tonight. The wind has dropped and it's lovely and still. Not much going on with the wildlife though again although bizarrely I nearly ran over a Peacock.
