Has anybody seen/read the above book? Thought it may be of interest to the likes of Garth, Anne Rowe & ME!! Who like mixing boats and motorhomes

seaview camping

yes, got this book. It only lists campsites and CL/Cs's not wild spots.
So far only managed to stay on a couple of recommended sites, but both where excellent. it is put together by an enthusiast so isn't quite as 'glossy' as a professional publication, but well worth the money (£7.99) if you like a seaview. I think it was a limited print run so when his run has been sold that is usually it.

The Garmin comes from them with all the Aires pre loaded. That is the only reason I would buy it as I know my way around Europe without a map except for villages!

Hi Nosha,

The guide is being updated and enlarged for the 2008 edition.

I've got the task of checking all 54 camp sites in Scotland, a labour of love. If your near the Scottish coast from mid August to mid September and you see a silver Timberland it will most likely be me, come and say hello.

Chris & Meli the owners of Vicarious Books are publishing an English version of the French Aires Guide, this is long over due. The guide will contain details of a 1000 aires and it should be ready by late June early July. As soon as I get a copy I'll do a write up and post it here.

If you are going to the Stratford Show next weekend (1-3 June) Vicarious books are on stall 102, come along and see us and have a look at what's on offer.

Safe travelling

Many thanks all for the info' looks like it could back up those few wild spots we know of... Poole, Aldeburgh & Swanage etc, can't get to the show, but have made a note of their website - Good luck with your tour of Scotland!
