What do you think?

Lol.

Being serious, it's part of upgrading to the latest Pi firmware and I like the new interface 👍

How did you accomplish this? are you gathering the data through a PC?

It's a Raspberry Pi (cigarette packet sized computer) programmed with the free Venus OS from Victron. With a permanent Internet connection this will log data on everything and upload it to a Victron website called VRM where you can view it all, update parts of the system and change parameters all remotely.

I don't normally have a screen in the van because you can get it all on your phone, this was just while making some changes.

Easy for you to say. Humph! I think I understand about one word in ten, like, packet, free, and being really flash, Victron

I really like having the 'kiosk' display in the van, dedicated to the Victron setup.
Pretty easy to setup, wireless and using an old phone that would otherwise be sat in a drawer (I reused a phone that was giving me issues with the touch screen not always 100%.. Too frustrating to use as a phone, but more than good enough for a victron screen).
Lives above the door. Phone gel cover is screwed to a CBE frame/cover and I can pop it out the cover if I want to use it sat down or whatever.
Pic shows the phone giving info on the LPG and Water tanks via Victron

Can really recommend you look at doing one of these and only cost is a bit of time and maybe make youself a custom 3D-printed mount?

I'm disappointed you don't have a permanent 80" screen in the van to make Barry really jealous. :p

I did have an old phone doing that but didn't miss it when it broke, so haven't bothered again. Each to their own, I've said before I like the way you've mounted yours 👍
