So in 4th week of tour of Ireland mostly south east and south west. Without using a bit of common sense and old fashioned maps you could get in a right mess with R and L roads. Anyone recommend other apps that you can put vehicle types in or avoid certain types of roads?

The best is iGo nextgen, but it's tricky to install and set up.
The best easy free one is Magic Earth

Just gave it a quick look and it seems promising, especially with offline maps. I’ve mostly relied on Google Maps and a bit of Waze, but they’re definitely not ideal when it comes to narrow rural roads, especially with a larger vehicle. iGo nextgen sounds interesting too, might be worth the effort if it handles routes better.

Is it free Trev?
Yes, i have a cheap mobile in my van with it running, must be a 4g phone from androud 7 onwards.
