i'm with footman james, though it's classic insurance - still, it's less than £200 fully comp which beat the next nearest quote by a whoping £700!!!!
i guess i should've taken a driving test before the ripe old age of 30
also get free breakdown cover, which in a 33 year old vehicle is very usefull, used it 4 times now, but these days i now know where the starter motor wires are
also get a month european cover, not dared cross any borders yet though, i can barely understand mechanics here!!!
I'm with Saga & the renewal is due 01/02/09 (ie now) but have had no contact from them with a renewal quote. So I've fired them off an email, & then went to CIS Co-op ins. After giving most of the details etc. they then said that they only insure MHs up to 2.5, so as mine's a 2.8 HDI they wont touch it. Boll***
hi
i'm with saga also (old fart) my rolleteam 600 costs me £240 fully comp with unlimited european cover, with new for old for the first 2 years.
i tried safeguard they wanted over £400.
been with saga now for 3 years no problems.
live long and prosper
ps just come back from benidorm diesel 88.9 cents a litre
saga is a good company but the only reason i dont insure with them is they dont allow commuting which is no good for me as i use my van as daily transport .you would have thought that social domestic and pleasure would allow you to use your van to travel to your permanent place of work but it wont .i am going through checking companies at the moment and comfort seem the best at this moment ,they say cover is through norwich union .
