Go Outdoors

I see there is a 15% offer at Go Outdoors today using code BANK15 (orders over £80).

I wonder if that will still apply if they do the price match where they promise to beat other stores prices by 10%.
Go Outdoors used used to show three prices ...the RRP, then the price they sold items at, and the "members" price, ( they also had the extra discount on seasonal sale items ) ......Now they only say they have a percentage off RRP ...but they NEVER actually sold at RRP, so the discounts are a little bit of a conn now.

C&MC members also get a decent discount at Mountain Warehouse too...15 or 20% (cant remember which).

I always found there prices near double of what I can buy else where, trailer tyre on rim £30, nuts corner open market £15, table top single gas cooker £30, camping shop in antrim £12, not so cheap with there goods but folk are like blind sheep.

They do a price match though Trev. Take in a print off from the website of the cheapest place you can find the article (not auction sites though) and they will match the price of that article and then deduct a further 10%.

I've had some great bargains doing this and this time I got a price match and a further 10% off and a further 15% off using the offer code. In other words I got a discount of 10% + 15% of the cheapest price I could find it anywhere.

Having said that, I ordered an article online couple of years ago which showed as in stock. It never arrived and they said they didn't know when it would be back in stock but I had already paid for it. It took several months to get my money back and reading reviews on Trustpilot this was happening to hundreds of customers. They blamed computer glitches (probably Linux :)).

After that I vowed never to use them again, but now they have been taken over by JD Sports so I am giving them another try and I'm happy so far.
