Hi all,
Currently overlanding in Turkey. We have propane German gas bottles with regulator 50mbar. One of them expired 2 weeks ago and because it’s winter and we’re using the heater A LOT (I work online and sit all day) we decided to take a Turkish propane bottle like that we’re sure we can exchange is easily/quickly when it’s empty as with the German gas bottle we have left we aren’t sure which gas station will let us fill up on LPG with our adapter. Long story short, the gas man said our regulator was a little larger than the Turkish bottle so they added a washer. It seemed fine the first time around but when they replaced the empty bottle they had difficulties making it fit and changed the washer. Still I’ve noticed that it smells like gas in the gas bottle compartment and my son noticed twice noise coming from the bottle so had to take out the washer, put it back and tighten it again. Obviously, it seems to be leaking a bit. I have looked on the net in Turkey and contacted several motorhome shops in Turkey to ask if they sell the Euro adapters (to Connect a foreign gas bottle to a German regulator) buy i can’t seem to find it anywhere here and shipping from outsider Turkey amount to €100 for the adapters! Anyone know if I can find it in Turkey? Or have an idea or experience with this situation?
Thank you :)

You appear to have a house regulator not mobile/RV regulator fitted which are 30 mbar. Maybe your starting point is to get a Turkish 30mbar reg. Fitted.
