Hello,
We are just about to venture into the luxury of motorhoming after suffering years of tenting, I am presently looking at a Trendscout which will suit us perfectly but it doesn't come with an oven or grill, I have seen references to a Sunncamp Portable Butane Oven which is totally self contained and would suit the van but I cannot for the life of me find one, apparently the makers don't make them anymore, alternatively has anyone any suggestions for a small portable oven, I have read reviews for the Coleman stovetop oven but it seems a bit scary.
Many years ago my wife and I and a few others travelled from Katmandu to the UK on a converted army truck and Wild Camped in places that you wouldn't be allowed to visit nowadays, that really was wild, if you wanted the loo you found a tree, if you wanted a shower you found a river, food was purchased when we found it but we survived.
Many Thanks

still works just the same . many live in converted trucks all year round . i live in mine all winter .
many are travelling overland to india etc . via russia and china these days . even north and south america are regular places for travellers .
as to the oven keep your eyes on ebay. baby belling or i think it was italian company begining with f used to make nice ones .

Try a Kampa Roastmaster I have one that I put in and out of the van when required but I do know someone that bolted it in their van permanently

it was actually calor flavel cookers i was thinking about .two burners ,grill ,and oven .

Gas cookers,

Ducus.......there's hundreds of gas cookers on market, available from caravan/camping and motorhome places everywhere........I just replaced my broken Italian 4 ring with a 2 ring plus grill thetford in my camper.........cooker cost £200, but the range is huge.......keep looking to find what fits and suits you..,......Steve bristol

Have a look at a company called NJ Commerce they sell all types of cooking equipment for caravans Motorhomes and self builds some great kit at very good prices. They are based in Coventry

Many thanks for your info, I think I have found something that might do its called a Cobb Premier gas bbq and works of a removable gas cylinder and can roast, bake, bbq, fry and is quite compact although pretty pricey, still saves me buying a bbq as well, if anyone has anything to add please feel free.

I use a Cobb BBQ, but the one which uses briquettes. They are brilliant.

As alluded to above, why not build one in?
Our Globecar Campscout is built with just the two burner hob as yours, that was taken out and replaced by hob/grill.

Don't think there is enough room where the burners are to take an oven, the ones I have seen are about 18" wide but I will investigate that when we actually get our hands on the van.
