I’ve just replaced my habitation batteries and someone suggested I should weigh them in instead of dumping them. I took the old ones to the local scrap yard yesterday and they gave me £20 for them. They had pallets full of old batteries, so it can’t be unusual to do that.
You may get CHARGED for that.Chuck it out of the passenger window on the motorway like everyone else does.![]()
If the police see you dumping batteries it could be TERMINAL.I left mine next to the rubbish skip on our local village in Portugal ( neighbour told me that's what they do!) Came back ten minutes later after collecting lunch...and it was gone!
Recondition it while your sitting around in quarantineWe have an old yuasa battery. Ybx 3000 ?
But more seriously how to dispose of it
Yes I hate NEGATIVE POSTS.Thats more positive
The negative to complete the circuit is lead poisoning, the battery may out last you....Without a negative post the circuit is not complete !
