Re the Metal Bridge. Possibly the noisiest park up I’ve been on. M6 on one side, with the, thump, thump of an expansion gap on the bridge. Mainline railway one the other.

The post I was referring to was a very political rant which has since, not surprisingly been removed. I agree this thread is a useful one to many members.

Parked up at the top of Portsdown Hill overlooking Portsmouth this morning in my car whilst waiting for my wife who was in QA hospital just below.
There must have been half a dozen full timers (I assume) in the spot west of Fort Widley and one large A Class to the east in the car park in front of the churchillian.
