Fuel prices Spain

Diesel 1.52 euro Plenoil, Orihuela costa this morning.

Noticed yesterday that diesel prices have dropped below petrol prices for the first time in 2023 by between 1-2 cents.

Don’t need to fill up as tank 3/4 full and not doing too many miles at the moment but will need to fill up before entering Portugal so here’s hoping this price dip continues.

Diesel was €1.489 when we left Javea last Saturday. We didn't need any then and by the time we did it was €1.749 on the AP7 motorway.

Temperatures here in Benicassim have been around 13-14 degrees and mostly sunny.

We go to Costco and premium is all they sell.
When out and about I fill with the normal stuff and I can feel the difference.
Costco premium diesel is currently £159.7 a litre.

Round here, Sainsbury's and Morrisons are 5p per litre cheaper than Costco.

Near Preston, Lancashire. Tesco still have 2 different prices for fuel even though they are only approx 5 miles apart

Tesco Penwortham which is a smaller Superstore diesel £1.60 and has a small unmanned 4 pump automated fuel station.

Tesco Leyland which is a larger Extra store diesel £1.66 and has a huge manned multi-pump fuel station with shop.
