frying oil as fuel? law in UK?

:scared::rolleyes2: I didn't expect that this post would become such a discussion :rolleyes2::scared:
It becomes very difficult for me to understand everything, because of my english practice (I was in school 15 years ago...)
So sorry, I "leave the ship" :egg:
Hihihi :p !!!

To answer Harmergeddon about french law, you can see HERE (if you manage to understand with google translate)

As I said in my post mine can run on veggie or biofuel.
But the hassle and that as I see it it's not for me I would rather be camping then mixing fuel.IMO
As I said each to there own.

Hi, We have a yr2000 fiat ducato 2.8idTD manual bessacarr E745 2berth 3.8 ton towing a trailer with a bmxz3 on it ,fiat data - motor 8140.43 version 230clmab10 ,would you know if we can run on veg mix or have engine chipped for more pulling power if so please advise, thank you ,dave.

I know nothing about veg oil,
I had mine remapped 2 years ago (16000 miles) and I am now getting about 4mpg better and on a good motorway run it has returned 28mpg and I do not have change so much on hills. mine is 2002 ducato 2.8 sundance 630L.
There will be lots for and against remapping but so far I have no regrets.
Wow remapping did mine at a local franchise and offer different remap,s for economy and towing.

I believe your van is a common rail diesel (possibly the first one) and would not be suitable for veggie etc. I stand to be corrected but I am going off the engine series number that you supplied.
