Hi everyone! we are new to this forum and are getting to know how to operate. We are on our third Motorhome, having bought the first one (an Ahorn Camper) in 2009. Previous to that we had always hired Scottish Cottages. Then we swapped for a Bessacar with an L shaped lounge, which meant that the double bed was across the back of the van. We are at that age where we have to get up in the middle of the night so there were some choice words spoken at times. Last December, we traded for an Elddis Autoquest 140 which has two six foot settees and they convert into either one large double or two good sized singles. Heaven!
We will be wild camping in the very near future. All I need now is a decent solar panel.

Hello from Gatesheed.

There are plenty of cheap solar panels on ebay at the moment. Just google '12 volt solar panel'.

I used to have the Autoquest 120. A good van but shorter than yours and we upsized for the extra space.

Hi Breedon - welcome to the fold :welcome:

We've got pretty much the identical van (Compass branded instead of Elddis) and we love it too... massive superking double or two nice roomy singles for wildcamping - best of both worlds :) We had a solar panel on our to-do list as well and we just ticked that box a couple of weeks back. Have fun!
