I have a 2002 Hymer 584 Classic and the first four or five times that I cleaned or replaced the jet I removed the fridge because the lower vent on mine is under the van instead of where the jet is because of the rear bumper design on my model, when I had to repair the front bumper and I sprayed it a darker colour I removed the rear bumper to spray it the same colour, I found behind it a plate that could be removed to gain access to the jet assembly, it is a lot quicker to remove the bumper than the fridge, I extended the wiring loom to the towbar and lights so now it takes 10 minutes to remove the bumperAlso, due to the design of the panel van it’s in the burner cannot be accessed through the vents, I have to remove the fridge from the front to carry out any repairs.
Which is a right pain in the bum!
