If they were taught the Highway Code and the correct way to position and signal when entering and leaving a roundabout that would really be something!

The problem now is the theory test has replaced being asked highway code questions at the end of the driving test. So now people only have to pick the correct answer, not know it. Another point is that the theory test pass is valid for two years, so now after passing the theory test no one ever picks up a highway code again!
