Just parked in the Fort William long stay car park. The car park is virtually empty, no more then about 5 percent of the spaces taken. All the large motorhome spaces free. Just having breakfast and a car comes and parks so close to us I think he is going to scrape. He is in one of the large motorhome bays, no other motor within 30 or 40 yards. So close he couldnt even get out his drivers door if he tried and sat there on his phone.
Fruitcake.

Its not his fault, you have a very large vehicle with a very strong magnetic field which will naturally draw all steel objects such as cars towards it.

My motorhome suffers similarly I am despairately looking for some where that can degauss it when I find somewhere I will let you know (for a small finders fee)

Was cooking pancakes so considered emptying frying pan over him. The car park was so empty I did a big loop and parked at the the other end of the big bays 3 spaces away. As he left 10 mins or so later he did a loop round us whilst giving us a toot on his horn with a sly grin on his horrible ferret face

A few years back at Quarré-les-Tombes, bedded down at night ( we were the only ones there ) looking like this Quarre Les Tombes France 2015 005.jpgQuarre Les Tombes France 2015 004.jpg

Woke up the following morning with 2 froggies almost touching us

One parked that close we struggled to open the habitation door and the other that close at the front i couldn`t get down to take the silver screen off.

They were not very impressed when i hammered on their doors at 06.30am telling them to move so i could get out.

Ive no axe to grind with the frenchies, spend alot of time over there and never had a single cross word, but the post by Wooie where hes parked in an empty park has happened to us a few times and is just really weird,One time ,seen a french van pull in,i opened the cab doors just to make sure we could get in and out of the van.

They still parked next to us though

Probably why I didn't pay oodles of thousands of pounds for my camper - just in case the wind grabs the door as I open it and leaves a nasty dent on anybody parked too close to me!

I lived in France and they drive like idiots. Not crazy or anything but you can go down a road with no traffic on it for miles but you can bet your bottom dollar that some frenchie is right up your a*** but won't overtake you or drop back.

ah le ''slipstreaming'' ! many a sou to be saved by letting a foreigner take on the worst of the wind resistance !

They've never forgiven us for kicking Boney's butt at Waterloo, and as for Agincourt - merde to les Rosbifs.....(!)

I prefer FRUITCAKE for tea
