How do we stand on wildcamping on forestry land.

I'm thinking about a visit to Hamsterley forest in Durham over the xmas hols.
as my son wants to try dirt biking :confused:,whatever that is.
Any advice would be appreciated.

P.S. Hope he's not winding me up:eek::D:D
