Personally would have any of the three I’m a Vdub man. Never been a fan of mercs, German Bedford’s we used to call them.

Noticed a fair few new VW/MAN vans getting into courier firms instead of Sprinters, but then theres now the front wheel drive Renault Sprinter to get into the MH market.

My son has a brand new sprinter to replace his crap m sport transit but the merc has been back to merc main dealer with a few complaints and when my son was waiting to collect at reception the guy who worked on it told the receptionist to tell the guy with this van to remember it’s a fn van
My son is not a small guy and the mechanic vacated the reception kinda quickly when my son opened up politely

They do, you still need to go aftermarket if you want an off roader though.

Lucky Germans had access to these for a few years. Get snapped up very quickly when they appear second hand.
Not strictly 4Motion, old school engineering.
VW UK didn't even know they existed.

We didn't like the van anyway. It was nothing to do with the Transit part, that seemed fine but in the end the layout didn't tick enough boxes for us, so we'll continue our search for a Dethleffs which is what we really want.
