Ford Cortina Campervan??

The only reason fibreglass cars like that are still on the road is the magnets in the scrap yard won’t stick to the roof😜

Hoi you no got any work to do .mind you’ve got a holiday to pay for.
I’m sitting at junc 11 on the A74 Douglas dist ,snowing like buggery it is ,they’ve parked me up to wait to get loaded agh ,then to dewars London Road .

Drawback for a lot of those Cortina based rig kits and some similar was the waste of space relative to the overall length of vehicle. In a small camper every
inch should count as it were, that is you're in to camping rather than head
turning. The usual head turning comments I think heard used to be "when are gonna finish that mate" !

Was it actually a Cortina or was it a P100 Pickup with demountable Camper body?

Mine was a 6 wheeler based on a MK4 Cortina Auto, A 2ltr pinto engine with LPG conversion, myself and the 2 kids used to sleep over the cab, the bench seats made into a double bed and there was a small toilet compartment with a porta potty and across the back sink 4 ring hob and oven and fridge. water tank under the seats.

Happy Days :lol-053:
