Simple answer...Yes, but if you don't use a
solar controller between the panel and
battery then..
1, you lose about 20% efficiency by not using an MPPT controller.
2, You'll overcharge your
battery if you leave it connected after the
battery has become fully charged, you need to remove it when the
battery voltage reaches say 14.6V. Probably best to buy a cheap
solar controller and use that too, a plain old
PWM controller won't give you any additional efficiency but it'll save you
battery if you accidentally leave it connected.
