folding scooter

Interesting!
I think anybody considering buying would need to check what if any licences are required and in any Country a person may visit.
I am thinking of the issue with some higher power electric cyclers in Ireland and Spain!

Agreed.

My guess is to make it folding, it will be heavy.

There are also non folding electric scooters but I don't know if they are any good.

Not allowed in n/ireland and almost all removed from sale,i seen one in a caravan shop close to me going into ballyclare, they did not know about the law regarding this until i pointed it out.
There is talk if stormont can get there act together about a change in law to bring this in line with mainland uk.
I have no info regarding southern ireland and the regs on this subject as yet.

dont quite see the benefit of a folding machine if you can't lift it. And at that weight no chance.

I really fancey this because it folds up. Following on from Phil, at 85kg,I couldn't think
about buying one unless I was clear about how I could get it in (and out) of the garage.

i think the floor/footrest section is the battery & when removed that has handle and wheels weighs 30kg leaving the folded scooter at 50kg still a lump but not unmanageable
