Unfortunately we have priced ourselves out of the market for making low tech stuff. China could probably make a folding table for a couple of quid, it would cost £20 to make in the UK.

The western world likes cheap goods so a lot of goods are made in sweat shops and by slave labour. Now it has all come back to bite us on the ar5e, we produce very little and we cannot compete.

I have been stating what is in that video for the last few weeks, there is plenty of evidence out there showing China's expansionism.
Homegrown conspiracy theory maybe, but, I look at the ports the Chinese have taken around Africa, pretty much encircling the whole continent and I wonder if they are also looking at the millions of cheap labour there? Cheap labour is just a rung up from slave labour.

China is after world domination, they would prefer not to bomb the crap out of the planet because no one wins that war. They will dominate monetarily, money means power, power means subjugation, subjugation means slavery.

What's more, Chinese expansionism will then be about crossing borders, as they have done with Tibet and some of the South Pacific Islands.

The Chinese government is trying to eradicate the Uighur people by forced sterilization, if they can do that to their own, how do you think they will treat other races?

......and with forecasted years of global economic recession both individuals and businesses will have to buy cheaper products and we know who will provide them. This thread has made me contemplate whether WW3 will be purely information and economy based and hardly a shot fired, has it actually started without me noticing .....worrying thought with regards to my 2yr old

This is why I wrote in one of my forum posts that our lads have said they don't ever want kids. We have chatted it through and we are all under the same thought of "what's it going to be like in another 20 years time for the up and coming generations" none of us think its fair on the kids that will have to grow up in such an uncertain time...
