Hi all. Looking for advice on how to fix fly screen door on my Swift Sundance 620fb 2011. The bottom cord has broken & wonder if & how it is repairable. Looks like a pully system. Cheers Adrian

Our dog brust thtoigh the bottom and broke ours. When we took it to a dealer to enquire about a repair, we were told absolutely no chance at all. The bill a couple of years ago would’ve been about £3-400. So we’ve just lived with it.

Probably not much of a dealer. The thing was manufactured by humans at one point and there must be a way of replacing the cord. I dont know what it might be but I would certainly take the things part to try to find out myself. I have re strung Heki roof light blinds and I wouldn't be surprised if this is similar.

I had a chord come loose on a rooflight, couldn’t get any help from Burstner or the rooflight manufacturer so I dismantled it slowly and took photos, I eventually began to understand how it worked and was able to reterminate the chord and rebuild the rooflight, that was about two years ago and it still works so I would say if you have some mechanical aptitude have a go.

I know this isn’t related to the OP when we were away but Malcolm put the kettle on (he had the flame to high!)and the fly screen was down so the screen is now a bit shrivelled on the corner!
