flush problem......autocruise starspirit

hi

having a problem with the flush, its not working?, when pressing the flush button nothing happens, not even any noise?
i have just taken the battery of to charge up, maybe its a fuse?

we have a mclouis and there is a fuse in the compartment where you take out the waste tank it protects the toilet system

Hi ktgit,
If you have the Thetford with a toilet roll holder on the R/H side as you look at it take out the roll holder and you will see the pump directly below the opening, 1 screw holds it in place, undo this and lift out the pump. With the power off give the little impeller a turn or two and then try it again. Mine stops working if it is left unused for any length of time.

You need to give us a bit more info, such as age/model of Thetford - ours uses the 'normal' water pump, does yours? And does the pump run when you open a tap?

had exactly the same happen to me in Portugal. I took out the casette and there are 2 small switches in the wiring to the flush. One is linked to the switch that cuts off the flush when you remove the casette, so you don't pee water all over when the casette is out, the other is the actual switch that lets you flush. I think one of these will be faulty. The easiest thing to do is if it's the former just by-pass by connecting the wires together, quite safe if you don't have kids. If it's the other one, I just bought a doorbell and wired it up to that, works perfect. You can check if it's the switches by shorting them out with a short piece of wire, good luck

Who answers the door when the doorbell rings. Or did you mean you bought a doorbell push and use that as a switch, Sorry to be phineckity about this but if AJS got hold of it it would be a lot worse, Good idea though will remember that one,
